Charmy Kaur was born on May 17,1987 at Vasai (Mumbai) in India. Her other names are charmi, charmme. She is popular as a Tollywood actress She acted with leading stars such as Simbu,Jr.NTR,Venkatesh, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Prabas ,Siddharth, Ravi Teja, Sumanth and Nitin.

In the age of 13, Charmy started her first movie, ‘Nee Thodu Kavali’ in which she acted in a housewife role. The movie did not do well and it was flopped but she was noticed by South Indian film industry and got her an opportunity for the movie ‘Kadal Azhaqvatillai’ opposite to Silambarasan which was again a flop.During this time, ’kattuchembakam’ a Malayalam movie acted opposite ‘Jayasurya’ and could not farewell and she did couple more Tamil movies but did not reached the expectations the movies could not do well.

She got an opportunity to act in the Telugu movie ‘Annukokunda Okka Roju’ this movie is a heroine-oriented thriller movie and played a leading role and her performance and talent is appreciated by the audience as well as Telugu film industry.

Her next film was ‘Pournami’ which was flop ,but performance has been appreciated as she did Indian classical dances like BharataNatyam and kuchipudi in the film without knowledge of classical dance. Then she gave big hits in box office with the films like ‘Rakhi’(with NTR), ‘Mantra’ and her performance is appreciated by wide range of audience.

In her personal life, she is having a relationship with Devi Sri Prasad,a telugu pop singer. Her best friends in the industry are Bhoomika chawla and Genelia D’souza and her childhood friends are Sridhar teegala and anuradha yadla. She acted in several movies, majorly in telugu films along with 4 Tamil films, a Malayalam and one Kannada film.

She won award as a winner of ‘ Santosham Best Actress Award ‘ for her outstanding performance in the movie ’Anukokunda Oka Roju’. Her recent movie is ’Chintakayala Ravi’ opposite Victory Venkatesh which is a big hit in the box office. Her future projects are ‘Mass Dammunte kasko’ with Nagarjuna and other film acting with RaviTeja in the direction of ‘Mehar Ramesh’
