Namitha Kapoor a film actress born on October in Cithukadu,India She born and bought up inMumbai. Her Real name is Namita M Vankawala, studied at Ratnam Arts College,Surat. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife.
She is a popular South Indian actress. She started out by participating in the Femina Miss India Contest. She was crowned Miss Surat in 1998 and came fourth in the Miss Inia contest during the year 2001 along with Trisha Krishnan and Cheli Jaitley, who was crowned as a Miss India Universe. Miss India contest brought Namitha to the Telugu film industry.
Namitha always aspired to become an actress ever since she was a small kid. She was first introduced into the film industry by Malayalam film director Siddhique. She attained instant stardom following the success of the Tamil version of the movie ‘Engal Anna’ opposite Tamil superstar Vijayakanth.
She has acted Telugu,Hindi,Tamil,Kannada films. She made her debut in the Telugu film Sontam. Subsequent to that, she became famous after the Tamil film “Engal Anna” opposite Vijayakanth. She starred in Tamil Film “Aai” the song “Arjuna Arjuna” along with sarath kumar which was a big hit. This movie dubbed in Hindi as Nayi Baazi(going to release very soon). Her screen name for the first two Telugu movies was Bhairavi She has also appeared in an English film named Maya directed by Eric Manning.After entering Tollywood, she immediately grabbed the attention of Telugu film loverswith a film Gemini, but the film did not fare well in the box office.
